We live in a world today that supports the production of unhealthy and toxic
food. Therefore, it is easy to consume food mindlessly without considering the toxic effect on our bodies when food is laden with extra calories and unhealthy ingredients. Here are three success strategies for achieving a healthy weight. 1. Set a goal that is SMART: I will eat three food groups at breakfast, lunch and dinner, and my calorie intake will be 500 calories. I will do this three days a week as a starting point. 2. Increase success by moving more: I will add more physical activity five days a week, by taking the stairs at work to get to my office on the fourth floor. 3. Take the time and lose weight slowly: I will drink water each day and cut out my soda drinking habit over the next two weeks. I will eliminate food with artificial colors, artificial flavors, hydrogenated oils, high fructose and corn syrup from the food I eat, eliminating one toxic food a day. It is a fact that anyone can lose weight, achieve a healthy weight and keep it off. This is your opportunity to create your own plan. When you begin to balance your energy in (food) and your energy out (physical activity), you too can be successful losing weight.
