Part of Your Progress is Fear

When you start taking small steps and begin making progress towards being more personally effective, remember... fear is part of your progress and you will not want to allow it to get in your way. The first step is awareness, begin to recognize when you are feeling fear. What are the negative thoughts that roll over in your head? Being aware of these thoughts and feelings can help you identify what you are responding to with fear. When you identify the opposite of fear….courage….then you can begin to change your thoughts to be more positive and positive feelings will then change how you feel. Fear is giving you the opportunity to become better, stronger and more confident…..courageous….in some area of your life. It will be the small step toward making progress. How have you become more courageous and used fear to create progress for you?
