Have you ever asked how do I boost my self-esteem so I can be responsible when life gives me challenges? Sometimes you may feel like the life situation is something that was given to you and you certainly didn't want or deserve this to happen to you. Poor you! This attitude of poor you is simply a victim's mentality. It is time to remember that you are the only person to make you feel .....any way that you want. No-one else makes you feel.

If you want to be a good leader, having a victim mentality will not allow you to lead effectively. Strong leaders will tell themselves, "bring it on...." to whatever life brings their way. It is only your responsibility to honor yourself and find the true opportunity that is facing you, at that moment. Anyone can say, I don't want to finish, or I don't want to carry the ball, or I don't want to strive for excellence, or I don't want to take responsibility. By giving your unwanted life situations the best you have, you will boost your self-esteem and your personal effectiveness will make you thrive with new found energy. Your team, co-workers, family or friends can see you as someone who faces  whatever life gives you. They will see you as someone who has personal effectiveness and a strong sense of self-esteem. What happens to your self-esteem when life gives you challenges?

Do you find yourself wishing you could make changes and simply cannot get yourself going? You have all the information you need, all the support you need, all the time you need, all........the list goes on and on, yet no action is taken. What is it? Motivation? Incredible results will follow naturally when you bring more of yourself into the moment. What the heck is that? The moment? Yes, you actually have to decide that you really want to change....what ever "that" is. IF you have the mindset of, "well, maybe, I can't do that, I failed before..." why will this time be any different? You will not be successful. There are eight steps or facets of action. When you develop these steps your success strategies will boost your personal effectiveness and your self-esteem in to action. First you must have the mindset, "yes, I want to change and I will change." You have to create the intention to change. Intending to do something must have a positive response from you. Simply saying, "I intend to lose weight..." without a positive response will not get you closer to creating change. Being authentic is a must. Authenticity is being brutally honest with your self. It means telling yourself the truth, saying positive things about yourself, creating small steps that will enhance, not a quick fix, but sustainable change lasting a lifetime. You also need a strategy for each of the previous steps. When you start to say negative things in your head about your slow progress, you need to know what you will do to stay on track, reminding yourself that determination will get results. There must be consequences for choices that do not support your success strategies. You must be clear that your process and habits need to and will support your intention of a positive mindset. Right now, this moment you must choose to be honest and authentic. When you become clearer and more masterful in creating these action steps, the more confident you will become. Your success strategies will boost your self-esteem and enhance your personal effectiveness. Will you decide today to start planning a future of more joy, hope and exhilaration? I look forward to hearing what success looks like to you!

Self-esteem is a benchmark, a cornerstone of your health. How strong is your cornerstone? Your health is a reflection of the behaviors and habits that you choose to promote. Did you know there are seven common threads that impact your self-esteem? These golden threads, when upgraded throughout your life, will help you flourish, find happiness and live a more fulfilled life. 1. Physical capabilities: Is your body able to meet your daily physical needs? 2. Social connections: Do you act graciously and invite others to enjoy your company? 3. Self-discipline: Are you able to remain persistent when accomplishing a goal? 4. Financial literacy: Do you understand the laws of prosperity and spend, save and invest wisely? 5. Strengths and talents: Can you identify and use your strengths and special talents? 6. Self-trust: Can you trust your own perceptions about what is safe and what is dangerous? 7. Self-image: Do you feel secure about whom you are and the image you project to the world? Start by answering these seven questions from your heart of hearts. How much positive regard and self-respect do you have? Do you feel loved and respected by others? By asking your self these questions, you too can begin to feel fabulous and flourish even more. These questions can help you identify the areas that may need fine tuning and YES, your self-esteem will get the boost you have been waiting to feel.

Are you the master of your own health and well-being? How do you know if you are? Remember each time you can rely on yourself, create connections with others and know you are making a difference in the world... your self-esteem becomes stronger and YOU will become more confident. Feeling fabulous and capable is how to live well and feel great each day. It's simple: success begets success!
